India army ammunition depot catches fire, 17 killed: reports

The teasers tickled our fancy but the trailer failed to live up to the hype.

Let's be honest, we were excited to see Deepika Padukone more than anything else (and maybe some chemistry between Xander Cage and Serena), but the trailer missed out on everything that the teasers promised.

The minute-and-a-half trailer contains lots of action that introduces the main lead, Xander Cage, but only snippets of the rest of the cast, including Deepika's five seconds of fame.

We only get to see her thrice in the much-anticipated trailer:

1) When she's throwing the knife, which we saw in one of the teasers

2) When she's holding a gun in her hand

Deepika looking pretty badass

And...

3) When she is seen with Ruby Rose, which was also in one of the teasers

Deepika and Ruby Rose ready to kick some.

Having said that, the action-packed trailer does leave one excited. We can't wait for it to hit theatres on January 20th, 2017.
