Fate had the 100 crore club planned for Fawad Khan-starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, so how are the other Bollywood films starring Pakistani stars faring?

There were speculations that Ali Zafar-starrer Dear Zindagi may be hit by the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India, but actor Alia Bhatt rubbished the rumours at an event yesterday.

On being asked, the 23-year-old star said, “Nobody is being replaced. The film will release in its full form."

She also hinted that it's time to move on from this discussion.

"There isn’t much conversation happening around who’s being replaced and who’s not. So, we can leave the edge of that topic for sometime since it has died down,” she said.

Directed by Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish fame, Dear Zindagi also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a key role. The film is scheduled to release on November 25.

انڈو بورڈ برج، انڈونیشیاء

سرفنگ اور اسکیٹنگ کے شوقین افراد تو انڈو بورڈ کی اصطلاح سے بخوبی واقف ہوں گے مگر انڈونیشیاءکے اس پل سے گزرنے کی ہمت کون کرسکتا ہے جو کہ سیدھا بھی نہیں؟ مگر اس پر گزرنے والے بچے روزانہ اسکول جانے کے لیے اس کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

چھیرا پونجی، بھارت

شمال مشرقی بھارتی ریاست میگھالیہ کے اس قصبے کو دنیا کے نم ترین مقامات میں سے ایک قرار دیا جاتا ہے جہاں کسی ایک سال میں سب سے زیادہ بارشوں کا ریکارڈ جولائی 1861 میں قائم ہوا تھا جو اب تک برقرار ہے، مگر یہاں کے پل بھی اپنی مثال آپ ہے جسے مقامی جنگلی قبائل نے انوکھے انداز سے تیار کیا ہے اور ان پر سے گزرنا اکثر افراد کے دلوں کو ہلا دیتا ہے۔

Ghasa، نیپال

دریائے کالی کندکی کے قریب Ghasa نامی قصبے کے قریب تعمیر کردہ یہ معلق پل بنیادی طور پر سڑکوں پر جانوروں کے ریوڑ کا ہجوم کم کرنے کے لیے تعمیر کیا گیا تھا مگر اب جانور تو کم گزرتے ہیں درحقیقت انسانوں نے اسے اپنا راستہ بنا لیا ہے۔

ماﺅنٹ ہیوشان، چین

شمال مغربی چین میں واقع ماﺅنٹ ہوشان کی چوٹیوں پر خوبصورت مندر اور سورج کے طلوع و غروب کے مناظر کسی کا بھی دل جیت سکتے ہیں مگر وہاں تک رسائی کسی کمزور دل کے مالک فرد کے بس کی بات نہیں۔ درحقیقت اس چوٹی تک پیدل ہی پہنچا جاسکتا ہے اور وہ بھی محض 12 انچ چوڑے راتے پر چل کر جس پر پیر لڑکھڑانے کا نتیجہ براہ راست ہزاروں فٹ نیچے زمین سے ٹکرانے کی صورت یں نکل سکتا ہے۔ اگرچہ یہاں پیدل چلنے والے راستے پر زنجیریں لگی ہوئی ہیں مگر اس شکستہ پل نما راستے میں متعدد مقامات ٹوٹے ہوئے یا وہاں زمین ہی نہیں، یہی وجہ ہے کہ گزشتہ برسوں میں چوٹی تک رسائی کی خواہش سینکڑوں افراد کی جانیں لے گئی اور ہاں وہاں پر سفر کرتے ہوئے نیچے جھانکنا بھی کافی بھاری پڑسکتا ہے۔

ویا فیریٹا لوین، ناروے

ناروے کا یہ پل ایڈونچر پسند افراد کے لیے بہت کشش رکھتا ہے اور یہاں کے قدرتی مناظر بھی دنگ کردینے والے ہوتے ہیں۔

سوئس الپس، سوئٹزرلینڈ

سوئٹزر لینڈ کو سیاحوں کی جنت قرار دیا جاتا ہے خاص طور پر اس کے علاقے سوئس الپس میں ہر موسم میں دنیا بھر سے آنے والوں کو ہجوم ہوتا ہے، مگر وہاں انہیں اس قسم کے معلق پل کا سامنا بھی ہوسکتا ہے، ٹرفٹ برج نامی یہ پل 170 میٹر لمبا ہے اور یہاں صرف پیدل چلنے والوں کو ہی گزرنے کی ضرورت ہے، تاہم چلتے ہوئے نیچے نہ دیکھنے کی ہدایت کی جاتی ہے۔

دریائے میکانگ، لاﺅس

میکانگ نامی یہ دریا جنوب مشرقی ایشیاءمیں چھ ممالک سے گزرتا ہے جن میں چین، برما، لاﺅس، تھائی لینڈ، کمبوڈیا اور ویت نام شامل ہیں، مگر بیشتر مقامات پر اسے عبور کرنا کافی مشکل ہوتا ہے، جیسے یہ بانسوں سے بنا برج ہے جو سیلاب میں ڈوب جاتا ہے اور عام دنوں میں بھی اس پر گزرتے ہوئے ڈر رہتا ہے کہ کہیں پانی میں گر جائیں۔

تمبووپٹا نیشنل پارک، پیرو

جنوبی امریکی ملک پیرو کے اس نیشنل پارک میں آمیزون جنگلات کے درمیان لوگوں کو گھومنے کی سہولت کے لیے یہ معلق پل بنایا گیا ہے مگر اس پر سے گزرنا بھی اکثر لوگوں کے دل دہلا دیتا ہے کیونکہ یہ ہلتا کافی زیادہ ہے جس سے لگتا ہے کہ کسی بھی وقت نیچے گر جائیں گے۔

کوسٹا ریکا

کوسٹا ریکا کے برساتی جنگل پر سفر کی سہولت فراہم کرنے والے اس پل کو دیکھ کر بیشتر افراد مزید آگے بڑھنے سے انکار کردیتے ہیں، جس کی وجہ جاننا مشکل نہیں کیونکہ اس کے بیشتر قدمچے درمیان میں سے غائب ہیں۔

The Lux Golden Rose Awards are making their debut this year, to commemorate beauty, style and elegance of iconic actors. This is the first time an award ceremony will celebrate the women of Bollywood, recognising and appreciating the iconic characters they play on screen.
