In 1900, Alfred P. Gray created what he called the “mobile phone book”. His model contained only 2 lines, which allowed him to operate it like a pen drive. However, this did not work well, and the user would get confused if the caller wanted information from me. Later on, Bell Labs designed a device known as the “one-second message” which could deliver the exact message that the receiver desired just when you were talking.

In 1950, the United States government decided to build more than 3,300 cellular towers to help improve communication. With the introduction of satellite and wireless communication, cell phones became widely available.
