Get prettier feet without a pedicure with these 5 care tips

Avoid all acetone products on your feet:

Acetone is highly harsh on your nails, as it dries out the natural oils from them. Say no to acetone nail polish removers and opt for the acetone-free options for stronger and healthier nails.

Don’t soak your feet:

Remember all those times you soaked your feet in water, brimming with pride as to how careful you were about your care regimen? The truth is, you were only stripping the natural oils from your feet. Next time, just wash your feet with some mild soap instead.

Exfoliate all the way:

Exfoliation is a mandatory process when it comes to caring for your feet. It helps in getting rid of all those pesky dead skin, to leave your feet feeling smooth and soft. Just use a pumice stone on your feet regularly for softer, prettier feet.

Get a foot massage:

If you’re really looking into taking proper care of your feet, we urge you to go for regular foot massage. Massaging some moisturiser onto your feet everyday helps lock in moisture and keeps your feet feeling supple for longer.

Change your diet:

Make sure your diet includes a lot of calcium to walk your way to healthier feet. Foods like green leafy vegetables, fish and almonds are great for adding calcium to your diet, and will help tremendously in taking you one step closer to the feet of your dreams.

Our favourite though is a vintage Chanel suit that the star wore in the film Aisha whose protagonist is not far from her real self. Turkish President Erdogan to address joint session of parliament today

ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is in Pakistan on a two-day official visit on the invitation of President Mamnoon Hussain, is due to address a joint session of the parliament for the third time on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif received the Turkish President, his wife along with his team at the Nur Khan Airbase.
He was accompanied by a high-level entourage, including ministers and senior officials, as well as a large business delegation.

President Erdogan will also visit the walled city of Lahore on Thursday during which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will host a banquet in his honour at the famous Shahi Fort. Later he will inaugurate Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore.
“Pakistan and Turkey are bound by an exemplary relationship characterized by warmth, cordiality and mutual trust. These are embedded deep in history, common faith, cultural and linguistic affinities and a sense of common destiny,” a Foreign Office statement said.
Meanwhile, despite a request by Turkish Ambassador Sadik Babur Girgin to reconsider its decision, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) will boycott President Erdogan’s address today.
Imran Khan had said on Tuesday it was not possible for his party to be a part of the parliament’s session. However, he had hinted that PTI may reassess its decision on the request of the Turkish ambassador.

Pakistan expels Turkish school staff

turkey-post-2
Pakistan has ordered Turkish teachers at schools with alleged links to a Turkish cleric opposed to President Erdogan to leave the country, as he prepares to address the parliament on Thursday.
The teachers and their families, totalling about 450 people, were given three days notice to leave, PakTurk International Schools and Colleges said in a statement late on Tuesday.
PakTurk educates more than 10,000 students in Pakistan and denies any affiliation with the cleric Fethullah Gulen, or his “Hizmet” movement.
Erdogan has accused Gulen, a former political ally, of being behind a coup attempt in July, and Turkey has previously asked Pakistan to shut down any groups in the country with links to the cleric.
“PakTurk International Schools and Colleges are deeply concerned over the abrupt decision of the government requiring the Turkish teachers, management and their family members…to leave the country within three days,” the school said.
It added that staff were asked to leave because of “non-approval of their requests for extension of visa”.

Bilateral defence cooperation agreed

turkey-post-3
President Hussain met President Erdogan later had a one-on-one meeting at the President House in the day and agreed to further expand the mutual cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
They agreed to further deepen the existing cooperation in trade and defence relations, settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions, joint efforts for durable peace in Afghanistan and elimination of terrorism.
On the occasion, President Hussain proposed to conclude a comprehensive and long-term “Framework Agreement for Defence Cooperation” between Pakistan and Turkey, which was agreed by the visiting dignitary.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries would grow further in the coming days, adding that in that regard all necessary measures would be taken.

‘I was inspired by action movies, but never thought I’d get this far’

ISLAMABAD: Ahmad ‘Wolverine’ Mujtaba exited international arrivals at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Sunday morning with his fists up.
He had just returned, victorious, from Singapore, after beating 21-year-old Benedict Ang at the ONE Championship — Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) platform for professional fighters.
Over three five minute rounds, Mr Mujtaba was the more aggressive of the two fighters. Known for grappling and forcing submission from his opponents, this particular fight was different.
This time, his efficient and hard boxing-like punches were mostly what caused the judges to unanimously declare him the winner in all three bouts.
After his victory at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last Friday, Mr Mujtaba now has 8-0 wins.
Unlike his opponent, who had been preparing for the fight at the ONE Championship, Mr Mujtaba was informed late and only had a month and a half to prepare for the challenge.
“I would start practicing at 11am and work until 11 at night, running all the way up to Pir Sohawa,” he said. According to him, Benedict Ang did not have any weaknesses — he had trained well at a good club in Singapore.
“And I had my strong belief and prayers as an extra weapon to defeat my opponent,” he said.
Sporting a beard like the Marvel character Wolverine, the 23 year old said he is living his dream.
“A lot of action movies inspired me, but I never thought I’d go this far, becoming a professional fighter,” Mr Mujtaba said.
Since he began to learn MMA around six years ago, Mr Mujtaba has held two featherweight championships — the first at the Underground Battle in February and then at the World Series of Fighting in July, both in Manila.
Two months from now he said he plans to compete in the International Fighting Championships.
“If I perform well, I’ll be expecting a call from the Ultimate Fighting Championships; the dream platform for every MMA athlete.”

10 Reasons Why Survivor Series Is Going To Be Awesom

Survivor Series emanates live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada this Sunday. After a series of forgettable, average-at-best pay-per-views, the November tradition is shaping up to be one of the best shows in recent memory. Here’s why:
10. Breezango – Yep – I’m going there right off the bat. I’m all in on this duo. So, yes, this pay-per-view has just enough Breezango on it to be exceptional. Really, Tyler Breeze and Fandango are the most entertaining tag team on Smackdown not named American Alpha. Push them to the mooon.
9. Comedy done right – It’s rare for WWE to excel at comedy. It often comes off campy and corny. However, Smackdown has absolutely nailed James Ellsworth. Now, he’s the official mascot of Team Smackdown. Sign me up.
8. High stakes Cruiserweight Division action – Even the Cruiserweights are getting in on the brand rivalry. Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto should deliver, but with the division hanging in the balance, a lot more is on the line. Can you imagine the Cruiserweight division on Smackdown?
7. New Day’s run continues – With virtually all of the WWE’s noteworthy tag teams vying for brand superiority, the Raw Tag Team Championships get a rest. That greatly increases the chances of the New Day recording the longest reign as any tag team champions in WWE history. Now, whether you support that or not – who knows? I do. They’re the greatest tag team since the Attitude Era.
6. Shane O’ Mac returns to in-ring action – Here comes the money, amiright?!?! I don’t know how much of a draw McMahon was at Wrestlemania in a one-on-one showdown with The Undertaker, but he’s right at home in the midst of a ten-man tag team match. For wrestling fans, it’s always a spectacle when the prodigal son laces up the boots.
5. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sami Zayn – Need I say more? I mean, technically, I’m not doing my job as a columnist if I don’t provide anymore insight. However, I don’t think any of us really need any further clarification here. Nonetheless, this is an outright dream match. Two of the greatest in-ring workers in the world going at it one-on-one for one of the WWE’s most storied championships.
4. GOOOOOOLD-BERG! Sure, the actual match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar is probably going to be a snooze-fest. Sure, Goldberg looked gassed after his entrances. He was totally sucking wind, soaked in sweat, trying to cut a promo on Raw. When he got a little action in on Rusev, he committed a couple of blunders that left fans wondering if he should’ve just stayed home.
Also, his opponent isn’t exactly a known ring general. It’s not as though Goldberg is stepping into the squared circle opposite AJ Styles or Seth Rollins. Lesnar doesn’t exactly have the reputation of being a real gamer. Just ask Dean Ambrose.
This match has all of the makings of a total disaster. That being said, it really is going to feel special to see two titans of wrestling lore standing face-to-face, eagerly awaiting the bell to ring. The entrances are going to be long, drawn out, pyro-laden masterpieces. Honestly, I hope the entrances last longer than the match itself.
That visual is going to ring in the hearts of the fans who grew up with Goldberg.
3. The main event (or, what should be) –  You have eight of the best workers in the world involved in the main Raw vs. Smackdown bout. And, hey – I’ll give Braun Strowman credit. He is an improved wrestler.
There are so many dynamics at play here. There’s potential for a champion vs. champion showdown that the IWC has been having wet dreams over for years: Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles. Braun Strowman might rag-doll Shane McMahon off of the arena. Hey, there’s also potential for The Shield to reunite.
Quite simply, there’s a wealth of excitement heading into this match. These are the workers who have been on the shows week in and week out, touring to promote this show. So, there’s absolutely no reason for it not to be the main event.
2. Brand rivalry is back – In one show, they’ve somehow managed to make me care about brand superiority again. Before, the Raw vs. Smackdown rivalry felt horribly manufactured. It’s tough to bring back the feel of the inaugural brand split in 2002, but in recent weeks, the WWE has done well to make it feel important.
Factor in that there are virtually no consequences to either side losing, and it really has been quite the admirable booking job. There’s dissension among the ranks on Raw. Meanwhile, superstars are being pulled from the match because of injury on Smackdown (kind of sucks for Baron Corbin – I was stoked about a potential Corbin-Strowman faceoff).
It feels like a nice, standalone event, similar to the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring – as it should. The big question now is whether or not they should bring back the Bragging Rights trophy. Too soon? R.I.P. Bragging Rights.
1. The Thanksgiving tradition – Yeah, I’m going to get a little sappy on you for a second, but there’s just nothing quite like the ties Survivor Series has to turkey day. For (American) wrestling fans, Survivor Series is sort of the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season. The year is starting to wind down, and we’re all thinking back on the year that was. It’s a time to enjoy the company of loved ones
Or, it’s a time to throw somebody through a table. You decide.
Regardless, this is one of the best Survivor Series cards of all time on paper. Whether it delivers on that potential, well, that’s a different point altogether. For the time being, just enjoy the festivities.
