ISLAMABAD: World’s third largest smart-phone maker, Xiaomi, has launched in Pakistan on Monday.
Smart Link Technologies, has partnered with Zong 4G and Daraz.pk to bring it to the Pakistani market.
At the event, Sales Director of South Asia, Xiaomi, Jack Yung announced that three smart-phones including Mi Max, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A together with its IOT products such as Mi Band 2 will be available in Pakistan.
Smart Link Technologies said that it is partnering with Daraz.pk as an online partner to distribute the products of leading technology company Xiaomi in Pakistan. This is Xiaomi’s first official entry in the country through a distribution partnership.
Ziad Matar, Senior Director at Qualcomm Snapdragon said around seven billion devices are connected with each other globally through smart-phones, which are now considered engine of economic development.

Chronologiste ‘Crème De La Crème’ at
an exclusive brunch in Karachi. The “La Vien Rose” brunch which took
place at The Deli, was the ideal occasion to bring together and introduce the
new members of the Council, this year being better and more fabulous then the
last.
The
event was specially designed by Kérastase Specialist Esha
Mullick. Besides the breathtaking decor, and spectacular
ambience the delectable seven course meal was a treat for
the taste buds. Each plate was a piece of art, carefully crafted by the
uber talented chefs at The Deli. These visually appealing delights were
also just as delicious!
The
‘La
Vien Rose’ brunch, boasted a fragrance bar, where guests could design
their very own fragrance. A gelato cart
serving shades of ‘La Vien Rose’ gelato
scoops, live soft jazz music and a paint
bar where guests could paint cards for their valentines which would then
be mailed by Kérastase directly to their
Valentines. Also present on the red carpet was larger a than life Photo frame
which resembled a Magazine Cover for very glamorous photo ops.
There
was an intimate gathering of L’Oréal employees along with socialites
and select celebrities. The honorable French and
German Consular generals were also present as the VIPs of the
party. The Kérastase Chronologiste ‘Crème De La Crème’ flew
in from Lahore to grace the event with their presence.

present at the event. Shanzay Sheikh, Fatima Kasuri and Anush Ammar, all
dressed very elegantly in shades of pink. They looked glamorous as they posed for the camera.

Round one
Ainy's Misha Lakhani outfit looks a little awkward to us. The wrap top is unflattering on the star and doesn't show off her petite figure. The tulip shalwar is no less -- loose on loose seldom works, and this is a total miss. The colours don't pair well together either.
Sadaf seems like she's in her element in this Ania Fawad ensemble. Her look is minimalist yet perfectly balanced. The dusty pink cape coat is a perfect addition to her casual white tee and dark skinnies. We're loving the braid too!

Round two
Ainy's Shehla Chatoor ensemble has a lot going on and we aren't fawning over the slits in the sleeves. This kimono inspired style didn't win us over.
White is Sadaf's colour, but this Sana Safinaz outfit fails to impress only owing to the ruffles. Had the blouse been a simple off-shoulder she would've looked chic. Love the pants. Hate the ruffle baby.

Ainy goes desi-wedding in this Rema & Shehrbano attire. We feel it could work for a morning engagement party but for a film's promotions? Not really...
Sadaf's Muse Luxe is formal yet comfortable. Again, something that's better suited for a wedding but the velvet and minimal embellishments make it work.

Round four
Ainy plays it safe again in this military style jacket with side swept hair, although we like how she jazzed up the look with bright lips and minimal accessories.
Sadaf rocks this embroidered Sania Maskatiya blazer and her sleek hair with center parting giving her an edgy look. She rocked the statement piece by keeping everything else muted.

Round five
Ainy's ivory side-slit column dress by Faraz Manan with the netted cape screams goddess. There are very few things we'd change about this look but Ainy carried it off effortlessly.
Sadaf wears an Anaya dress which... we're still confused about. The dress resembles a paper tulip and honestly, was quite a risky choice. It doesn't do justice to the model.
Farida Jalal wants you to know that she's alive and kicking.
After baseless death rumours of the actor made rounds on social media on Sunday, Farida quickly rebuffed them to assure her fans that she is in fact still alive.
"I am hale and hearty. I don't know from where these baseless rumours are coming from," she told DNA India.
"Initially I laughed, but from last 30 mins my phone have been constantly ringing and everybody is asking the same question. It's a bit irritating, I wonder why people spread such rumours."
The veteran actor has appeared in more than 200 films and will next be seen in Sargoshiya set for release this year.
